Course overview

Build confidence with foundational language skills

The General English program is designed for students focused on the development of foundational language skills, so that you can feel comfortable and fully prepared to commence studies in English.

As part of the course, you can look forward to social excursions and recreational activities that will help you use conversational English in a relaxed setting, allowing you to build up your confidence.

The course focuses on:

  • Core communication skills, including reading, writing and listening
  • Development of vocabulary and grammar skills
  • Enhancement of computer skills

Our General English course is offered at La Trobe University's Melbourne Campus.

ELICOS classes are currently scheduled from 11:00am-1:00pm & from 1:30pm-3:30pm (Australian Eastern Standard time - AEST).

2024 Fees

Our Elicos fees

A$27,160 (for 56 weeks) at a cost of A$485 per week plus a non-refundable enrolment fee of A$220.
